The Cupertino tech giant has come up with yet another flagship smartphone lineup. Apple’s iPhone 14 series is now official across the globe. The lineup includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. We have been listening to rumours for the past few months and now it's time to get our hands on this set of premium devices which offer a plethora of features.

Apple iPhone 14 Globally: Price and availability

Apple iPhone 14 is priced at $799 for the 128 GB storage variant and it will be available for purchase from September 16 from all the authorised retail and online stores. The phone is offered in Blue, Purple, Midnight, Starlight and red colour options.

iPhone 14 flaunts an Apple custom Super Retina XDR OLED display of 6.1 inch with ceramic shield “tougher than any smartphone glass”. The panel has 2532 x 1170 pixels screen reoslution at 460 ppi pixel density, 1200 nits peak brightness and Fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating. The phone gets power from an A15 Bionic chipset with 6 core GPU and 16 core neural engine. This chipset is also found in the iPhone 13 series that debuted last year.

For photos and video calls, the all-new Apple iPhone 14 houses a dual camera setup on the back with 12 megapixel main lens with 1.9 f/aperture which delivers 49 percent low-light improvement. On the front, it has a 12 megapixel True Depth camera for selfies and video calls with 38 percent low-light improvement. It has a Photonic Engine that improves low-light photos up to 2 times on the front camera and 2.5 times on the main camera. Furthermore, the camera has a new stabilisation mode named Action Mode that stabilises the image making it smooth to watch.

For connectivity, the iPhone 14 supports over 200 5G carriers, multiple eSims that allows transfer of phone number from one device to another. There are no sim trays in the models sold in the United States.
