Journey Discovery Child Care Center is a childcare and early learning business, which opened in 2010 in Spokane, WA. Prior to the pandemic the center employed 30-35 workers which includes lead teachers, assistant teachers, and a substitute teacher pool. Recognizing the need for additional coverage, the center increased the substitute pool and now employs nearly 50 people. This ensures seamless transitions for children when teachers need to stay home due to illness.

Founded in Brazil in 1969, Embraer has grown into one of the largest aerospace companies in the world and has maintained a U.S. presence for nearly 45 years. With numerous maintenance facilities across our country, Embraer operates in two nearby locations: Nashville, TN, and Macon, GA. Together, these two facilities employ 740 employees and around 550 of these employees are direct maintenance, while the rest are support staff in areas such as logistics and administration.

SoDel Concepts is an operating company overseeing 22 restaurant and hospitality businesses in coastal Delaware with2000 employees including 150 managers and executives. SoDel Concepts employs a diverse workforce including career professionals, college and high school students as well as a large ESL population (15%).

Clark Marine Maine is a boat retailer and service business in Central Maine. During an average year, the service department will service anywhere from 2500-2700 boats. The company has around 30 employees including management, technicians, and salespeople. The current owner has been with the company for 38 years with 25 as the owner.
